Three men on a two-wheeler lost their lives Saturday night in a road accident near Dhansura highway after it clashed with a dumper truck, the police said.

The deceased, who were allegedly on the wrong side of the road, were identified as Siddharajsinh Parmar (30), Deepaksinh Solanki (28) and Ajaysinh Parmar (29). All of them belonged to the Ambasar village of the Dhansura taluka.

Shaifali Barwal, Superintendent of Police of the Aravalli-Modasa district, says “The incident occurred at 8 pm when three men were travelling wrong side on a two-wheeler coming from Rojhad Chokdi towards Dhansura Highway.”

“Prima facie it was the negligence of the two-wheeler as they had three riders. They took the wrong way because they wanted to get a shortcut and avoid the usual U-Turn on the road after which they came under the Dumper Truck going on the highway,” she added.
