CID Crime has registered a crime against the partners of Samruddhi Corporation and the officers-employees of the City Survey Superintendent Office.

According to CID Crime sources, Azad Ramoliya, a 47-year-old resident of Laxmi Vilas Complex near Kotak Bank on Ghod Dod Road in Surat, owns Ignash Pvt Ltd in Hansot and is associated with agriculture.

Between October 28, 2016, and July 15, 2017, Azad purchased land in Dumas, including blocks 815, 801/2, 803, 804, 823, 787/2, and Vata’s block 61, from farmer Rasik of Magdalla, Surat.

The lands are currently registered in the names of Azad and his wife Jyotsna. Azad was shocked when he got to know that his land was for sale when a broker named Jignesh approached him with the property card for block 803 in March 2022.

Upon checking the revenue records online, he discovered fake property cards had been created for all his survey numbers in the names of various individuals.

Samruddhi Corporation allegedly created 135 fake property cards to propose a ‘Silent Zone’ plotting scheme in crores worth of land in Dumas.

Investigations revealed that the necessary procedures were not followed, and the property cards were made by officials in the city survey superintendent’s office.

Moreover, the Silent Zone scheme was not registered with any municipal authority. Funds from the sale of these plots were deposited into the company’s bank account, despite the corporation not being officially registered.
