Ten days ago on the ONGC bridge over the Tapi river on Hazira-Magadalla road, the tire of a speeding car got burst. The car broke the railing of the bridge about 7 meters. In this incident, the Highway Authority had reached to a settlement as the father of the car driver was a well-known businessman and he paid the amount of damages that took place. However, due to the high cost of repairing the railing, a complaint has finally been lodged.
On Sunday 3rd April at 2 pm on the ONGC bridge over the Tapi river at Magadalla road from Hazira to S.K. Tarrow car no. Raj Bipin Ramani (53, Himgiri Bungalow, Peopleod), driver of GJ-5JM-6898, lost control over the car steering wheel and crashed into the railing of the bridge.
The car collided with the railing of the bridge, breaking the railing by about 7 meters. Police rushed to the spot and Engineers of Highway Authority also rushed to the spot. Businessman Bipin Ramani, the father of the driver, also rushed to the spot after knowing about the accident.
But the cost of repairing the railing found out to be Rs. 40,000 more than the cost that industrialist Bipin Ramani had previously paid for repairing process.
