Shri Arvindrai Keshavlal Vaishnava Charitable Trust returned land and building constructed for state's first ambulance

In the presence of Keyur Rokadia, Mayor of Vadodara and dignitaries in the ceremony of realizing the noble spirit of Tera Tujko Arpan, Shri Arvindrai Keshavlal Vaishnava Charitable Trust handed over a large plot of land in Sayaji Hospital premises and building constructed for state's first ambulance co-fire service center to the hospital.

It may be mentioned that the state government had given this land to the trust in 1999 for the activities of the ambulance service center. The trust operated the ambulance service for 22 years. Currently, the number of patients due to diseases like corona has increased a lot and fires have occurred in hospitals due to continuous AC and other devices. The Arvindrai Trust has returned the land to facilitate the setting up of a firefighting center in the premises of the largest government hospital in Central Gujarat for its prevention.

It is worth noting here that the late Arvindrai Vaishnav started the fire fighting service with horse-drawn steam engines and tanks as well as 5 employees in Vadodara city and led it for 42 years and developed it with a huge headquarters at Dandiabazar. He helped guide the large scale industries around Vadodara in starting fire fighting services.

Expressing the expectation that the Vaishnav family will continue to be helpful to the city in times of need as per the tradition established by Arvindrai, Mayor Keyur Rokadia said that this family has always contributed to the works of the city and the self. Arvindrai has carried forward the service heritage of late Arvindrai Vaishnav.

Expressing the feeling that the ambulance services of 108 state government services, Vadodara Fire Brigade and other service organizations were becoming life-saving in Vadodara city during the Corona crisis, he said that ambulances were available in Vadodara in quick time when Corona was at its peak than all other cities in the state. With the help of the state government, Vadodara was at the forefront with the provision of 14 thousand beds for the patients of Corona. As the first citizen of the city, he thanked the trust for paving the way for setting up a fire-fighting service center at the Sayaji Hospital premises.

Mentioning that the state government has planned to make Sayaji Hospital a specialty hospital in Vadodara, BJP city president Dr. Vijay Shah said the launch of firefighting services on the hospital premises would be a motivator for other cities. Recalling the moments when the Trust's Ambulance Service Center was started in 1999, he said that the alumni of Vadodara Medical College who are today eminent doctors, have given their utmost for the development of this maternal education institute and look forward to fully cooperate in its development.

Expressing heartfelt thanks to the trust on behalf of the Sayaji Hospital family, Dr. Ranjan Aiyar, Medical Superintendent, Sayaji Hospital, said that this is a motivating example of Tera Tujko Arpan. He expressed the feeling that they won the trust of people by providing health services with capacity and heart in corona and then in mucormycosis.

On this occasion, the letter of blessing of Pujya Moraribapu was read and to facilitate the re-transfer of land with the building to Sayaji Hospital by the trust. Dr. Vijay Shah and the trust also thanked Jagdish Patel, former Chairman of Vadodara District Panchayat for the great help to start this centre.
