Riding on Chirag Chauhan’s whirlwind knock of 133 and Durjah Ravat’s quickfire 74, Sardar Patel Institute of Sports thumped Gandhinagar Sports Academy (GSA) by 186 runs in the Sports Promotors Charitable Trust (SPCT) U-14 Cricket Tournament, at the SPCT Cricket Ground on Wednesday.
Asked to bat first, Sardar Patel Institute of Sports amassed 383/8 in 50 overs.
Chauhan smashed 23 boundaries in his 133 (off 94b; 23x4) while Ravat hit 13 boundaries in his 74-run knock (off 40b; 13x4).
In reply, GSA were bowled out for 197 in 49 overs, with Hard Jansari making 49 runs and Krishiv contributing 32 runs.
Pace bowler Gyan Patel bagged one wicket for 13 runs while off spinner Chauhan too took one wicket giving away 14 runs.
