Revenue minister called a urgent press conference on Sunday at his Bajwada office in Vadodara regarding his surprise visit to the collectorate on Sunday. "In my surprise visit I asked how many RTS orders were pending in the SDM office, it was learned that a total of 70 orders were currently pending. The minister had directed to dispose of all these RTS orders within two days, though the officials had asked to dispose of all the 70 RTS cases within seven days. I will once again visit the office as the officer request for seven days time to clear the orders. I also request people to inform me if anyone asking for money from them, " Said Trivedi.

The revenue minister further said that a similar surprise visit would be made to any state office to review the performance. Not only this, other issues of the revenue department will also be dealt with expeditiously. He ordered to dispose of the pending appeals whose hearing is completed.
