The resident doctors have called a nationwide protest regarding the delay in the counselling process of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2021. Carrying placards and posters, the resident doctors of R2 batch in SSG sit on protest in front of the superintendent office and demand to start the counselling process of the new batch and help them ease their burden.

"We are sorry about staying away from emergency services for second straight day. We R2 batch resident doctors are working continuously for last one and half years since the start of Covid pandemic. Due to the situation the exam held in the month of September and the counselling is yet not started. We demand to start the process as soon as possible and give chance to the expected R1 batch to serve and divide their workforce and burden," said one of the protesting resident doctor.
