Rape complaint filed against man at Chhani police station in Vadodara
Also accused of molesting the victim's five year old girl
A complaint has been lodged at the Chhani police station in Vadodara against a man who raped a woman on the way from Chhani Bridge to village under the pretext of providing financial help. The victim husband has been lodged in Ahmedabad Sabarmati Jail for the last one and a half years. The complaint also alleges that the rapist also physically molested the five-year-old daughter of the woman.
As per the complaint, the victim's husband Umesh is presently served jail term in Sabarmati jail for the last one and half years. He is known to one Ranchod Patel from Kalol in Gandhinagar also serving the jail term. Ranchod's son Lalo Patel visited Vadodara and called wife of Umesh under the pretext of helping her financially. As she reached he took her in his car towards the road leading to Chhani village and raped her.
He also threatened her and also molested the five year girl. Police is further investigating after registering the case.
