Rape complaint against student doctor of Sayaji hospital in Vadodara

A rape complaint was lodged against a second year student doctor studying in the second year of medicine department of Sayaji Hospital. Police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail.

"The complainant girl mother was admitted in Sayaji hospital for treatment in 2018 and at that time she had an affair with a second year student Mitul Bhalodiya. Dr. Miltul promised to marry and raped her from time to time. The girl became pregnant and Mitul took her to one apartment at Sangam area and there his uncle Sanjaybhai Bhalodiya, Dennis Dalsania and another woman threatened to kill the baby. They abused and comment on her religion. Mitul and his family threatened her husband too, " Said D. K. Rathod ACP SC/ ST cell.

He further added that the doctor even give 20 lakhs to settle the matter. However the dispute between them increased and she gives complaint against the boy and his family. The student doctor was arrested and send to jail. Further investigation is on in the matter.
