A promising National level judo player from Vadodara died of dengue that broke out in the city amid a possible third wave of the deadly Corona epidemic. 19-year-old Sakshi Rawal, a resident of Sayaji Township in Ajwa Road Khodiyar Nagar area of ​​the city was down with dengue and died later during treatment. Sakshi's judo coach Vasudev Kadam said that Sakshi was studying in the First year of B.Com in MSU and also doing job to meet ends. The income from the job was used to help her mother and move ahead in judo. He have been training her in judo for the last seven years at Pahelwan Narayan Guru Adya Gymnasium. Currently she has reached out to martial arts (kursha) in judo. In the year 2019, she won a bronze medal in the National Judo Championship held in Jharkhand. She also won a silver medal in the state level judo competition. Her desire was to play in the Olympics and she worked hard for it day and night. She had an amazing talent in judo.

As per avaliable details Sakshi's mother raised her single handedly since she was one year old. She works on a contract basis and wanted her daughter Sakshi to play in the Olympics and make the country proud. famous.
