Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil multiple development projects worth more than Rs 60,000 crore during his visit to Gujarat on Thursday.
The visit coincides with the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate significant development projects at public functions that will be held in Mahesana and Navsari.
The projects will be developed across Gujarat, spanning various crucial sectors such as road, rail, energy, health, internet connectivity, urban development, water supply, tourism, petroleum & natural gas, and tribal development.
In Tarabh, Mahesana, PM Modi will dedicate pivotal projects including Bharat Net Phase-II – Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited, aimed at providing high-speed internet to over 8000 gram panchayats.
Additionally, multiple rail line doubling, gauge conversion, and new broad-gauge line projects in Mahesana and Banaskantha districts will be inaugurated.
Road projects in Kheda, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Mahesana, alongside other initiatives, will further enhance the region’s development.
In Navsari, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate multiple development projects, including sections of the Vadodara Mumbai Expressway, road projects in Bharuch, Navsari, and Valsad, as well as rural drinking water supply initiatives in Tapi.
The initiation of construction work for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park will also mark a significant milestone for the region.
During the event, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for projects that include the Bharuch-Dahej access-controlled expressway, healthcare facilities in Vadodara, regional science centers, railway gauge conversion projects, road constructions, and water supply schemes across different districts, among others.
