Old woman died in a fire broke out in company in Vadodara

One old woman died in a fire broke out in early morning at Shree Sainath Electro Plaster Company in Makarpura GIDC of Vadodara city. Fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the fire with water.

As per available details, a fire broke out in the early morning at 884/14, Shree Sainath Electro Plasters Company near Hanuman Temple in Makarpura GIDC. The flames spread quickly and a old lady lived in the company, could not save herself as the fire spread from all sides.

As per information received from the fire brigade, the lady who was burnt in the fire, had been living there for the last two years and was taking care of the company. On information Manjalpur police and the GEB team immediately rushed to the spot and took action. The company is said to be owned by Bipinbhai Patel.

The exact cause of the early morning fire is unknown, but is believed to have been caused by a short circuit or fireworks. Manjalpur police had launched an investigation into the incident.

It may be mentioned that during the last two days in the city, 59 incidents of fire, large and small, were recorded in the books of the fire brigade due to firecrackers as well as short circuits. In which an old woman was killed and have caused extensive damage to property. Most of the fire incidents are said to have been caused by firecrackers.
