Gujarat state health minister Nimisha Suthar said, there is no decision to close down schools and the only focus is on the education and future of students. As far as cases are concerned the health teams take measures to isolate the children and give them necessary treatment for safety of other children.

The minister was in Vadodara to visit the two workers critically injured in a blast inside Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), located in Goghamba in Panchmahal district. Both are under treatment at a private hospital and the minister review the treatment process and gave necessary instructions to the doctor and his team.

During interaction with media she clearly indicate no closing of schools in view of cases in Vadodara and other cities of Gujarat. "There is no such decision to close down the schools and the entire focus is on children education and future. During Corona the education suffers a lot and schools were open after cases were down. The health teams reached the schools immediately where cases are coming and isolate the child and give necessary treatment. Measures are taken by them to stop spreading of the infection to other students. If cases increase the government will take steps as per guidelines," said Suthar.

On the condition of injured workers she said, their condition is improving and she was here to console the families and give strength to the patients. She gave necessary instructions to the doctors and their team about the treatment of admitted workers of the company. She also visited the hospital at Halol where 8 to 10 injured are under treatment.
