Muskurahat”, Smile, A fun filled day for children from low-socio-economic back ground was organized on 21th of October 2023, by Voluntary Youth Organization for Motivation (VYOM) uniting various NGOs working with underprivileged children.
“Muskurahat” a one day program for the slum, orphans & destitute children.
To help those experiences privileges they may not receive at home.
A fun filled combination of stage performance , one minute game , Creativity & learning stalls , Awareness stalls , a festival environment combining Diwali and Children’s day celebration to socialize and learn in an experience filled environment.
Muskurahat will gave an opportunity to interact positively and to develop better relationships with each other.
The stalls by various corporate volunteers (Wago, Kumar Organic Product ltd, Collabera ,Krystal Global Engineering LTD, creative& learning stall by food & Nutrition, Textile & clothing, She Team, MP dental association gave the children a chance to be competitive as well as have fun and feel good about themselves, it also boosted their self-esteem and enhance their moral too.
Muskurahat provided a sense of united community and a feeling that they're not alone in their struggles and there is always a brighter side in life.
The children played organized games and competed in their favourite 1 minute games.
Players were cheered on by their peers, laughter and smiles filled the environment.
At the end of the day, hundreds of children were seen happier together with a wonderful and memorable image captured in their hearts .
Each child had also taken a bag full of goodies
In this event 535 children, 60 Ngo Staff/ Volunteers & 80 corporate volunteers took part in this event.14 NGOs have taken part in it.
The mela clearly reflected the employee response to the cause.One of the employees Vallabh said “ it gives me a lot of satisfaction.Instead of taking a break in the canteen or watching a movie,I would rather devote time to such events. Seeing the smiles on the faces of kids helps us to realize we should be content with what we have and be grateful for the things we have in life”.
