More than 10,000 kg of plastic has been collected and disposed in Vadodara district under Swachh Bharat program

Cent of India, Nehru Youth Center, Vadodara and Vadodara District Administration in coordination with all government and non-government departments of the district from October 1, 2021. The program is being run in all the districts of the country, aims to collect and dispose 75 lakh kilograms of Single use plastic across India. It was started by the District Rural Development Agency in Vadodara district.

Under this program, more than 10 thousand kg of plastic has been collected and disposed in Vadodara district so far. Women and child development department, self help groups, national service scheme, railway department, health department, NGO played an active part in this Swachh Bharat program.

This program will continue till October 31, 2021. District Youth Development Officer Ketul Mahria, District Coordinator of Swachh Bharat Mission Rupa Gohil specially contribute in this program.
