The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain in Ahmedabad on Friday and Saturday. Cloudy weather after noon on Thursday kept the maximum temperature in the city in check.
The sky will remain partly cloudy with thundery development towards the evening/night very likely. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 38°C on Friday," the IMD forecast states.
The maximum temperature in Ahmedabad settled at 38.7°C on Thursday, 2.6 degrees below normal while the minimum temperature at 25.8°C was 0.1 degree above normal
