Leopard spotted near picnic spot in Vadodara

A leopard was spotted in CCTV footage in the popular picnic spot Sindhrot on the outskirts of the city.
It is believed that the leopard also preyed on a nilgai (bluebuck) in the Sindhrot-Sherkhi area.

The area has several such farmhouses which have been equipped with CCTVs for the past many years.
While the exact location of the leopard was not known, a forest official pointed out that this was not surprising as the wild cat was spotted there last year too.
The official added that the leopard was not known to have been involved in any conflict with humans in the area.
A couple of days back, a leopard was also spotted on the Sadhi-Goriyad Road in the Padra taluka.
