L. M. College of Pharmacy Annual Alumni 2022 celebrations

L. M. College of Pharmacy and LMCP Alumni Association and Research Society (LAARS), Ahmedabad organized their Annual Alumni Meet 2022 as part of their 75th Year Inaugural celebration. The event was presided by Daaji, Heartfulness Guide, who is the 1978 alumnus of L. M. College of Pharmacy was the Chief Guest of the event.

The alumnus meet that is held annually at the college premises has taken to online mode since the past two years due to the pandemic. With the success of the alumni meet of 2021, LMCP decided to organize the diamond jubilee celebrations online this year as well.

Around 300 participants joined the event virtually that included the college management, the faculty, and the alumni from within India and abroad. Event was also attended by over 20,000 heartfulness practitioners from all over the world

The welcome address for the event was delivered by Dr. M. T. Chhabria (Principal – LMCP) which was followed by reminiscences of life at LMCP by Dr. Seema Bajaj (Pharmacist, USA). Mr. Mahadev Bhatt (Pharmacist, USA) threw light on the pharmacological arena in the current times. The unveiling of the logo for the 75th year's celebration was done by Daaji as the Chief Guest.

Felicitations of distinguished alumni from respective decades were also carried out. A newsletter release 'Memoirs 2021' was carried out by Shri Manoj Shah and Shri Ashwin Patel. An entertainment programme sponsored by Ethicarewas also organised as part the event and a series of events for the75th year were announced.

The programme also saw a year-wise reunion with respective virtual links provided to the participants who were able to meet their respective batchmates on the online platform. As part of the entertainment, the organisers also had a band perform for the alumni towards the close of the event.
