Karuna ambulance service of Vadodara saves the life of a dog who met an accident
The dog was operated on the spot
Karuna Ambulance has been operating in Gujarat for the last four years in collaboration with the State Animal Husbandry Department and GVK EMRI. It has always been at the forefront in saving the lives of many animals, birds and wild animals.
In one such incident veterinary doctor of the ambulance attend a dog injured in an accident on the Vadodara-Dabhoi ring road on Friday with a fracture in one leg and serious injury on the other leg.
Veterinary doctor Sandeepbhai and pilot Ajit Singh Jadav, who were on duty at the time of the incident, rushed to the spot and found that the dog had bled profusely from both the legs and need urgent surgery. They perfomed surgery on the spot and saved the life of the dog by treating the fracture.
In Vadodara district so far more than 23265 animals have been treated free of cost by Karuna Ambulance (1962) including 7025 cases of medical emergency, 1554 cases of medicine supply, 11216 cases of surgical, 163 cases of obstetrics and 3306 others.
