Karjan MLA Akshay Patel represent the Gujarat CM about air pollution causing damage to crops

In Karjan Shinor taluka, crops like cotton and others has been damaged due to air pollution. In view of that Karjan MLA Akshay Patel presents the matter to the Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture on August 10 regarding the suffering of farmers. The Vadodara district collector has ordered to form teams to investigate and report to the government. Thus, survey work has been carried out in agriculture in Karjan Shinor taluka.
Acting on the representation a meeting was held with Mamlatdar on 17th August in which the District Collector immediately formed survey teams and ordered to conduct a survey in agriculture and submit a report to the government as soon as possible. The survey work has been carried out in the Karjan Shinor assembly constituency since August 18.
"Air pollution in Karjan Shinor and Vidhan Sabha constituency and in Bharuch district caused damage to crops which was investigated by agricultural experts and officials of the Pollution Control Board. I represent the matter to the Chief Minister and the Minister of Agriculture and the government instructed the District Collector. The survey work has been carried out in the Karjan Shinor assembly constituency since August 18," Said Akshay Patel MLA Karjan.
