Indian Coast Guard conducts walkathon as part of commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav

As part of 75th anniversary of India's Independence, Coast Guard District Headquarter No.15 conducted a walkathon on 02 August 2021 at Okha. The walkathon was flagged off by DIG KR Deepak Kumar, Commander, Coast Guard District Headquarters No 15.
The event was organized as part of 75 weeks of celebrations promoted by GoI starting from 12 Mar 21-15 Aug 2022 onwards with the theme 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'. Walkathon route covering approximately 7.5 km, majorly traversed through the Okha town for maximum visibility with personnel displaying placards and to commemorate the celebration and make people aware of government initiatives towards the same.
