IN-SPACe gets 67 proposals, one from Ahmedabad

Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) officials on Friday said that they have received a total of 67 proposals for collaboration so far.

The body, created as a single-window system for private entities including organizations and individuals, has its headquarters at Bopal, which was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi.

Pawan Kumar Goenka, chairman of IN-SPACe, said the 67 proposals include 29 for satellites, 19 for space applications, 10 for launch vehicles and nine for ground systems and research. 

Moreover, 34 are from MSMEs or startups, 17 are from academia or industrial associations, 14 from industry, and two from individuals.

The IN-SPACe team told sources that a Sanand-based firm, Azista Aerospace, has made one proposal. It is for usage of the Isro's launch facility for satellites developed by them.
