Gujarat: International Yoga Day celebrated at Indo-Pak border

In Gujarat, a state-level function was held on Friday to celebrate the 10th International Yoga Day at Zero Point on the Indo-Pak border near Nadabet in Banaskantha district in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Bhupendra Patel was accompanied by Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, who is also an MLA from Banaskantha district.

The function was attended by various security personnel, including Border Security Force, and local villagers.

Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spreading the message of yoga in the world, Patel highlighted yoga’s importance for a healthy body and mind.

Various Yoga Day celebration events were held across the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended one of the events at a garden in Ahmedabad's Sindhu Bhavan Road area.
