To cater to passenger rush during Diwali, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has added 8,340 bus trips every day. This move aims to serve around 3.75 lakh passengers.

GSRTC currently operates over 8,000 buses every day, covering more than 33 lakh km and transporting more than 25 lakh passengers. The GSRTC saw an 18% increase in bookings for Oct compared to the previous month.
