The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Thursday declared 72.02% HSC Science stream result which was the higher result as comparted to 2021.
In 2021 71.34% students cleared their examination. The result is around 0.68 % more as compared to last year.
A total of 95,361 students out of 68,681 students who appeared for the class 12 (Science) examination were declared pass by the board.
Students in A group with Mathematics posted 78.40 % result while the result of B group students with biology was 68.58 %.
The girls have once again outnumbered the boys and have performed better than the boys.
The pass out percentage of the girls was more than that of the boys.
While the pass out percentage was 72.05 % for the girls, it was 72 % for the boys.
English-medium students once again fared better than their Gujarati medium counterparts posting 72.57 % pass our percentage. The same for Gujarati medium was 72.04 %.
Out of total nearly 140 centres where the examination was conducted, the result of Lathi in Amreli was the highest at 96.12 % while that of Limkheda year was the lowest with 33.33%.
Among districts, Rajkot secured the highest pass percentage at 85.78% per cent while tribal-dominated Dahod district recorded the lowest percentage at 40.19.
