Ganesh mandals meeting in Vadodara to plan strategies for the upcoming Ganeshotsav

Ganesh Mandals are worried about the restrictions imposed by the state government on upcoming Ganesh Utsav. In such a situation Vadodara Ganesh Mandals on Sunday met at Sayaji Bagh Band Stand discussing on issues like height of idol, number of people joining the festival as well as DJ and sound system. They demand the government to allow them to celebrate the festival with DJ.

On Saturday Minister of Home Affairs Pradipsinh Jadeja regarding DJ system of Ganesh Mandals said, the government has already issued various guidelines for celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. The permission of the DJ system of Ganesh Mandals will be discussed and decided in the meeting of the state core committee.

However Ganesh Mandals in Vadodara demand to allow the DJ in celebration just like the political party processions taken out in the city recently. The meeting at Sayajibaug was chaired by Ganesh Mandal office bearers from different parts of Vadodara who shared their problems and gave suggestions.

"During this meeting an important decision was taken that Ganesh Mandals of the entire city would celebrate Ganesh Utsav under one banner as well as fight against problems together, " Swejal Vyas team revolution.

Another representative of Ganesh Mandal Kunal Patel said, if the permission of DJ is given in the political rally then why the mandals are not getting it. They demand to allow them to celebrate Ganeshotsav with DJ.
