Four fake policemen caught at Avakhal village

Locals of Avakhal village in Shinor taluka of Vadodara district, caught four fake policemen who went for a liquor raid in the name of police at the house of a panchayat member. They were beaten and later handover to the Shinor police who have arrested all the four accused and initiated legal action.

Lalitchandra Kanji Vasava, a member of Avakhal Panchayat, had lodged a complaint that at around 7:30 pm, he got a call from Anil Vasava, a Panchayat member living in the village, that four men had come to Ranchod Kanti Vasava's house in a Swift car and said that he was running a liquor business. They have to check and will file a big case of Prohibition against him.

After this he went to Anil Bhai's house and asked the names of the four. They said their names were Ashish Harshad Barot, Jayesh Natvar Solanki, Vikram Shana Rathwa and Rahul Dinesh Parmar. All four identified themselves as policemen and came to check and said that Ranchod runs a liquor business. They asked for their identity cards which they failed to show. A police board was struck in the front of the car.

Sence something suspicious the villagers beat them and later handover them to the police. Police have arrested all and further investigation in the matter.
