Fire broke out in JDM Scientific Research Center in Lasundra village of Savli taluka

A fire broke out at the JDM Scientific Research Center in Lasundra village of Savli taluka. Following the incident, 2 firefighters from Savli Municipality and GIDC were involved in the operation to control the fire.

As per available details a fire broke out early in the morning at J.D.M. Research Centre a reputable laboratory in Asia built at Lasundra village in Savli taluka of Vadodara district and commissioned by the Chief Minister of the state. The fire caused panic among the employees present inside as they rushed to safety.

On information two firefighters from the municipality and GIDC rushed to the spot following the incident and firefighting operations were carried out.

It is to be mentioned that JDM Scientific Research Center was inaugurated by the Gujarat Chief Minister on November 25, 2019. He called it a reputable laboratory in Asia.

There are many industrial units in Savli taluka. On Tuesday fire broke out in Advance Resin Pvt. Ltd. in Manjusar GIDC and on early morning Wednesday fire broke out in the JDM Scientific Research Center

located in Lasundra village.

A fireman with the Nandeshari Fire Brigade, said a fire broke out in the JDM Research Center Company's laboratory. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit and caused severe damage to laboratory-based machines. The fire was brought under control after seven to eight hours. No casualties were reported in the incident.
