Complaint against youth for raping a girl promise to marry her

A complaint has been registered against a youth who lured his maternal uncle's daughter for marriage and took her to a hotel in Vadodara and raped her after mixed caffeine in the drink. The victim alleged in the complaint that when her brother and his wife came Vadodara to asked about the marriage, the accused denied and said he will not marry his Sister. Gotri police have registered a case based on the victim's complaint and initiate legal action in the matter.

As per the details of the complaint lodged at the Vadodara Gotri police station after being transferred from the Delhi police station States, the educated girl from Delhi came to her aunt (Father's sister Bua) house in the Vadodara Gotri area in March 2021. She was married and met her aunt son and both are well known to each other. However, there was a rift between the girl and her husband and the two wanted to separate from each other.

Accused Anil was aware about the differences and taking advantage of that he lured the girl to a hotel in Vadodara promised to marry her and physically abused her after mixed some caffeine in the drink. When she came to her senses she shouted and Anil pressed her mouth and said, "If you tell this to anyone, I will die." He promise to marry her and said to go to Delhi and get a divorce from her husband. After going home, Anil's mother told the girl that he will marry her and asked her to go back to Delhi.

Anil went to Delhi to drop the girl and told her parents to marry after she divorce her husband. As he showed readiness to get married the victim got divorced from her husband. However to her shock Anil refused to get married and even denied to get marry when she send her brother and sister-in-law came to Vadodara to persuade Anil and his family.

In addition, Anil's mother told the girl brother and sister in law that Anil had made a mistake and she is willing to give as much money they need, But he will not marry her. With heavy heart they left for Delhi.

The had lodged a police complaint in Delhi against Anil, who refused to marry her after physically abused her lured her for marriage. The complaint was lodged at the Gotri police station in Vadodara after the case was transferred from Delhi. Police have registered a case against Anil on the basis of the complaint and further investigating.
