A complaint has been lodged at the Raopura police station in Vadodara against Salim Jarda's relative Ayub Jarda, who submitted bogus documents to secure the release of Godhra Sabarmati train convict Salim alias Salman Yusuf Salim Jarda.

According to the complaint filed by the jailor, Ayub Zarda had submitted bogus Solvency certificate to Vadodara Central Jail on the basis of a High Court order to release prisoner Salim Zarda on parole leave as per the court order.

Jailor N.P. Rathod of said in the complaint that Salim alias Salman Yusuf Salim Jarda, a resident of Godhra and a prisoner in the Godhra Sabarmati train case, is serving a life sentence in Vadodara Central Jail. He had applied to the Gujarat High Court for parole. On the basis of the application, the court on 16-6-2021 ordered to grant parole leave without police custody for three weeks (3 weeks). And the court ordered prisoner Salim Jarda to pay a deposit of Rs 1 lakh and submit a two-person solvency certificate of the same amount to the jail authority within 15 days.

In order to release prisoner Salim Zarda on parole on the basis of the order of the High Court, his relative Ayub Yusuf Zarda presented Kanti Dalpatbhai Vasava and Belim Iqbal Siddi as as bail on 30-6-021 in the morning. And when Ayub Jarda proceeded to pay the deposit of Rs 1 lakh as per the court order, the Aadhaar card was sought by the jail official. Asking for Aadhar card, he said that Aadhar card mobile phone has been deposited at Main Gate. He asked to bing it and did not return for hours after being told.

Meanwhile, while examining the Solvency certificate submitted by prisoner Salim Zarda's relative Ayub Zarda, they were found to be bogus. The jail administration was suspicious of the Solvency certificate, presenting of Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh instead of the Rs 1-1 lakh. Solvanshi certificate. So for the prison administration investigated in the office of the Godhra Executive Magistrate and the certificate was found to be false and bogus.

Based on jailor N.P.
