Led by Gujarat state president Amit Chavda, the city and district Congress staged demonstrations in Bil village near Vadodara to protest the CM Vijay Rupani government's 5th anniversary celebrations. They raised slogans about people's rights and take a dig on the ruling BJP party. They also extend support to the doctors movement run across the state.

Regarding the strike of resident doctors, Amit Chavda said that the BJP government, which is ruling on British policy, has always tried to suppress the voice of the people. Instead of listening to the people and resolving their issues, the government, the police and the administration are trying to silence them. The Corona Warriors have saved lives in the Corona epidemic. If those people are fighting over their demands, they should be debated, but this government is trying to force them to vacate the hostel, to file a police case, which we strongly condemn. Again we demand the government should understand their feelings and demands.

Regarding Shankarsinh Vaghela's joining the Congress, he said it was a socio-religious program. So I believe that in this program, all the people who are socially connected, family-connected, participate. As far as political equations of the future are concerned it will be talked about when the time comes.

He further said that the BJP government which has been ruling the state for the last 25 years and the government of Vijay Rupani, who has been in power for the last 5 years, is celebrating the years of its failure. The government is trying to deprive the people of their rights. People who deposit their hard earned money in the government treasury as tax are not getting the infrastructural facilities. The highest taxes in the treasury of Gujarat are paid by the people of urban areas. In contrast, people do not have access to infrastructural, education and health facilities and the government uses people's tax money to promote it. The government uses public money for festivals and festivities.

He added that wherever there is injustice to the people, the Congress will fight to give its rights to the people of Gujarat through the Jan Adhikar Abhiyan. Areas included in the municipal limits years ago are yet to get basic facilities like water, health, education and drainage and government failed to provide them.BJP government always tried to suppress the voice of the people, we support the doctors' movement: Amit Chavda
