Music therapy with Vedic treatment was given to children as part of the celebration of World Yoga Day and World Music Day at Jai Ambe International School, Bharuch.

A great gift of Indian culture is yoga...and Indian classical music is equally important, so today combinely  World Yoga Day and World Music Day were celebrated.

According to which Dr. Sucheta Rakshit, who has been giving music therapy for the last 25 years and cured the coma patient in Delhi's AIMS hospital with music.

 In Veda therapy, Acharya Ashish Pandey, Acharya Ajay Shukla and Acharya Mayurkumar Rawal recited the verses of Vedas and gave the students an understanding of spiritual knowledge and concentration.

Dr. Sathita Rakshit explained the importance of yoga to the students through classical instruments like sitar, sarangi, flute, tabla, harmonium and chanting mantras.

Through this therapy, positive energy is transmitted to the human being. Comatose patients are also bein treated using this therapy.

In this music therapy program, the changes in the body and blood flow and oxygen levels of the children after being given music therapy were noted, as well as the changes in their mental alertness. It is worth mentioning here that after the raga therapy, the children looked more cheerful and happy.

How to reveal all the seven chakras in the children's body through raga therapy was also elaborately guided through the medium of music.

This raga therapy is offered to all the students, teachers and parents of the school. At 21st, 22nd and 23rd June 2024' has been organized by the management of Jay Ambe International School.

Before the start of raga therapy at Brahmamuhurta on 21st June 2024, a hawan was organised in the school premises in presence of principal of the school, entire staff including and all the therapists of the team. 

Naresh Chhabra, coordinator of the program, explained the purpose of raga therapy. However, it was a matter of pride for the Jai Ambe school family that Ishwari Shah, a bright student studying in class 12th commerce of the school, also participated along with the entire therapy team.

Student Ishwari Shah mesmerized everyone present at the event with her beautiful sitar playing.
