Ankleshwar Asset celebrated 69th ONGC Day on August 14, 2024 with great enthusiasm, reflecting on nearly seven decades of unparalleled contributions to India’s energy sector.
The event began with a solemn ceremony at the Martyrs Memorial, where the ED-Asset Manager, along with senior officers and representatives of Collectives, laid a wreath to honour the martyrs.
A two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to all “Energy Soldiers” for the supreme sacrifice in the course of their duty for ONGC and the Nation.
Following this, ED-Asset Manager unfurled the ONGC flag in lawn of office premises, marking the commencement of the day's celebrations.
The ONGC pledge was administered in three languages: Hindi, English, and Gujarati to an assembly of ONGC veterans and employees in Hindi, English and Gujarati by ED - Asset Manager Vijay Kumar Gokhale, President - ASTO Mr. Ravindranath Suvarna and General Secretary – ONG Mazdoor Sangh Nilesh Bombde respectively, emphasizing the organization's commitment to unity and diversity.
In his keynote address, the ED-Asset Manager Vijay Kumar Gokhale welcomed all eminent guests and conveyed deep gratitude to ONGC veterans, acknowledging that the organisation’s achievements are built on the unwavering courage, dedication and foresight of both former and current ONGCians.
