Amit Shah: Mansa to get 100-seat medical college

Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday announced that a 100-seat medical college will soon come up in Manasa town of Gandhinagar. He was speaking at the foundation-stone laying ceremony of a 425-bed govt hospital in Mansa, which is also the minister's hometown.

He mentioned that the medical college will be attached to the proposed new govt hospital in Mansa, which will be constructed for Rs 250 crore.

Shah also stated that the Union govt has drawn up plans to add 75,000 more medical seats across the country over the next five years to improve healthcare facilities.
