All 21 Research Scholars of Charusat received SHODH Scholarships
All 21 full-time research scholars from the renowned Charotar University of Science and Technology (Charusat University) at Changa have received scholarships under the SHODH project. They all applied for the SHODH project.
Recipients of the scholarship include 13 students of PDPIAS, 3 students of CIPS, 3 students of RPCP, 1 student of CSPIT and 1 student of KRADLE.
Research and innovation at Charusat University are part of growth and development. It offers PhD programs to promote research activities, offers seed research grants, conducts research paper awards, endowment chairs and others. The University provides a research-oriented environment to the students through highly qualified faculty members, excellent infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art facilities.
Charusat has conducted research courses for young research scholars such as Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF), PhD Scholar Fellowship (CPSF), Post Graduate Student Fellowship (PGSF) and Visitor Student Research Internship (CVSRI).
The Government of Gujarat encourages students for quality research in the field of higher education in Gujarat. It has a noble and historic project to develop and promote research potential in Gujarat students called SHODH-ScHeme of Developing High quality research. This very rewarding and ambitious scheme will increase the readiness of the students for research.
Under the SHODH Scholarship Scheme, a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month will be given to a student doing quality research in a recognized University of Gujarat. This stipend will be given for a period of 2 years. Apart from this, the PhD student gets an annual stipend of Rs. 20 thousand provided for supporting expenses.
