Ahmedabad: The deck of the Shantipura bridge collapsed

A big concrete deck slipped due to a miscalculation during the Shantipura bridge carriageway's bridge deck and cable straining phase. There were no recorded injuries or fatalities at the scene.

On Tuesday, about 11 p.m., the incident occurred. Auda is constructing the bridge. When the slip occurred, a section of the carriageway had been placed on the piers and a team of engineers was coordinating the stressing process. According to Auda CEO AB Gor, a team of engineers and structural specialists were on the scene to determine the cause of the collapse. "We will prepare a report by Wednesday before explaining the engineering issue. A roads and buildings department team will also investigate the incident," said Gor.
