The sixth U20 meeting will be held in Ahmedabad from February 8-10 with delegations from 35 international cities participating in the event.
This will be the third of the G20 events to be held in Gujarat as part of India's presidency of the G20 or Group of 20.
The sixth U20 will promote the solidarity of cities with an objective to deepen their collaboration and collectively find common solutions that are in sync with the overall objectives of the G20.
It highlights six priority areas that are critical for inspiring city level actions to respond to global agendas.
The delegates will arrive in the city on February 8 and visit Adalaj Ni Vav.
The plenary session on February 9 will be addressed by CM Bhupendra Patel and virtually by Union minister for housing and urban affairs Hardeep Singh Puri.
