Ahmedabad: 80 swimmers take part in fin swimming meet

Close to 80 swimmers across various age categories participated in the 2nd Ahmedabad District Fin Swimming Tournament  2024 held at the Gujarat Vidyapith swimming pool on Wednesday. The state-level competition will be held on May 8.

Fin swimming competition comprises Bi-fin swimming, Surface swimming, Apnoea swimming and Immersion Swimming.

Suraj Shah bagged four gold medals in Senior Group A while Arnav Kunal Hendre won a gold and a silver medal in the Senior Group A.

Sakshi Chaura captured three gold medals in the Senior Group A category.

Anurag Gond swam his way to three gold medals and one silver in the Junior Group B category. Pratham Tomar and Ritisha Parikh won three and two gold medals respectively in the Junior Group B category.

Kandarp Trivedi bagged four gold medals in Junior Group D category. 

Arah Shah emerged victorious in Junior Group D, bagging one gold, two silver and one bronze medals.

Banshri Patel triumphed with one gold and one silver medals in Junior Group D category.

Tofik Memon, who compted in Master category, captured four gold medals.

Vihan Shah won gold in 100m bi-fin swimming in Junior E boys category. Hesha Sagar Joshi too won a silver in 100m and a bronze in 50m in bi-fin swimming.
