In a case of food poisoning, close to 25 people who were returning after a wedding ceremony, including the bride and groom, were hospitalised in Gujarat’s Kheda district early on Tuesday after they fell ill.

The people were travelling in a luxury bus from Ahmedabad to Rajpipla in Narmada district when they reportedly showed signs of diarrhoea and vomiting and were rushed to the civil hospital.
Several members in the group began vomiting as the bus reached the Nadiad exit of the Expressway and some of them who were weak were rushed to the emergency ward in ambulances, according to Parekh.
The wedding group had left for Ahmedabad from Rajpipla in Narmada district on Monday morning.
