2 Vadodara girls selected for national camp for U-16 Women Asian championship 2021

Its a matter of pride for Vadodara as two basket players from the city get selected in the national camp for the U-16 Women Asian championship 2021 going to be held in Jordan from 4 to 11 October later in the year by FIBA.

Sports Authority of Gujarat run state level non-resident basketball academy is functioning at Vadodara. Khushi Shah and Avishi Prasad from the academy got selected in the national camp for the U-16 Women Asian championship 2021.

Khushi Shah and Avishi Prasad has been training in this basketball academy under coach Vishwa Dhiman since 2018. Their coach says that the players are hardworking and also performed well at the national level. Avishi Prasad is having a height of 5.9 which is beneficial for the game. Both the players are studying in Navrachana school, in which Khushi Shah is in Std. 10 and Avishi Prasad is in 11th Science.

Senior coaches and Vadodara Basketball Association congratulated both the players for their selection and wish them success.
