Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Gujarat on Saturday to lead the BJP's massive campaign in the state ahead of the upcoming assembly polls.
He will address 18 rallies during his three-day visit to his home state.
Gujarat will vote in two phases on December 1 and December 5. Votes will be counted on December 8.
After landing in the state on Saturday evening, the PM will address a rally in Valsad.
During this visit, Modi is expected to focus on Saurashtra and south Gujarat regions which will go to polls in the first phase, sources reported.
The BJP is going all out to woo voters in this region as Assembly constituencies in Saurashtra region have traditionally voted for the Congress.
On Day 2, he will visit the famous Somnath Temple. Modi is the Chairman of the Somnath Temple Trust.
After the temple visit, he is scheduled to address four rallies in the Saurashtra region at Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli and Botad.
The next day he will address rallies in Surendranagar, Bharuch and Navsari.
Campaigning for the first phase of elections will end on November 28. The PM is likely to be back in the state later to campaign in north and central Gujarat ahead of phase two of polls.
BJP chief J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have been addressing multiple rallies in the state.
Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari, chief ministers Bhupendra Patel (Gujarat), Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam) and Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh) are also among the party's 40 star campaigners for the polls.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also expected to visit the poll-bound state on Monday.
