Minister of State for Home Affairs Pradipsinh Jadeja inaugurated the Taluka Police Bhavan at Desar in Vadodara District. He hoped that the state-of-the-art and well-equipped police building would make the operation of the police system more efficient and make the police service more accessible to the people. He got information about the number of villages, proportion and type of industries in Desar taluka.
Desar police station in Vadodara district was functioning in the old government hospital and there were inconveniences including others to reach there. Gujarat Police Housing Corporation has constructed a state-of-the-art new building of Desar Police Station in the border of Balavav village at a cost of Rs. 57 lakhs.
On this occasion, state top police officials Vikas Sahay, Harikrishna Patel, MLA Ketanbhai Inamdar, Acting District Collector Kiran Zaveri, officers and office bearers were present during the ceremony. The Minister and dignitaries also planted trees to give a positive message of saving the environment.
