GTU officials fired for poor performance, happened for the first time in history says officials

In a first for the institution, the Gujarat Technological University dismissed its deputy registrar and an assistant registrar after finding that they did not perform their duties well, The two offifcials were serving their probation period.

A senior GTU official told sources that both the officials were on two-year probation period, their term had been extended for a third year as they could not perform their duties well.

The official also confirmed that it was for the first time that the university has dismissed two senior officials for non performance.
