After the 11th GST council meet the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that GST (Goods & service Tax) was on track and to be likely implemented from 1st july.
He added that the council approved the central GST and Integrated GST drft bill and it look like the possible date of implementation of GST is 1st july and the union territory GST and state GST draft bill will be taken up for discussion and approval at the Council’s next meeting on March 16.
With the compensation draft bill having already been approved in the Council’s previous meeting held on February 18 in Udaipur
