GSPCA and forest department detained three for possessing a Red Send Boa 4 foot long weigh around 2.5kg. The Boa is used for performing rituals.

As per details GSPCA Honorary Secretary Raj Bhavsar received a information about someone comes to Nizampura Vadodara with Red Send Boa for selling or rituals. Based on that he informed DFO Kartik Maharaj and laid a trap with the forest department.

Meanwhile on Saturday based on the information the teams raid Homaba office in Nizampura and found 4 foot long Red Send Boa weigh around 2.5kg from the spot. They detained Vipulbhai P Mayawanshi, age 36 from Bajwa road, Amrish Kumar Rai, age 55 resident of Gotri and Sohelbhai Gulabbhai Memon 45 from Ajwa Road. The main accused Jignesh Bhai Mayawanshi is absconding.

In the second incident the team rescued four parrots from houses in Dashrath, Karachiya and Ajod villages and further investigation is on in the matter.
