Request people not to keep wild animals and birds in captivity

Gujarat SPCA and Wildlife SOS along with Vadodara Forest department rescued parrots kept in captivity in two houses of Vadodara city. The team seized total seven parrots from there and further investigation is on in the matter.

As per details Raj Bhavsar of GSPCA and Wildlife SOS received a message about parrots kept in captivity by persons s in the city. Based on the information the volunteers along with Vadodara Forest Department conducted raid at two houses and rescued total seven parrots from there.

The teams rescued four Rose Ringed Parrot and one red head parrot from the house of Asiana Y Patel at Bahar colony Ajwa road and two Rose ringed parrot from the house of Jayendra Patni resides behind Bapod police station. A total seven parrots were rescued and brought to the forest department. Further investigation is underway in the matter.

The animal activists appeal to people that if there are wild animals in their house, handover them to the forest department immediately. They can contact GSPCA as keeping wildlife indoors is a crime.
