Surat highest with 79.63% Chhota Udepur lowest with 46.38 % this year

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board 10th board results was declared on Tuesday and once again the girls pass percentage is higher than boys. Surat registered the highest with 79.63% and Chhota Udepur is the lowest with 46.38 % this year. Vadodara score 67.03% a percent higher in compare to last year results.

Total registered students are 828944 and present was 822823. The overall result is

66.97% where 551023 students pass in their exams. The percentage of repeat students are 17.23% and Private were 10.13% to sit in exams. Surat score the highest with 79.63 % and Chhota Udepur is 46.38 % as the lowest. Last year also Surat was the highest with

80.06 % pass percentage. Supasi centre in Gir Somnath is highest with 95.56% and Tad centre in Gir Somnath is the lowest with 17.63% this year in board exams.

Boys score 62.83 % and girls once again outshine boys with 72.64% results. 366 schools in state score 100% results while 63 are with 0%. 995 schools get below 30% results in the exam. Gujarati medium students get 64.58% in comparison to English medium who scored 88.11 % and Hindi medium students score 72.66% in exams.

Total 6142 Divyang students appeared for the 10th board exams in the state this year. Under NCERT pilot project Surat district score 78.45 % and others stands at 93.51% in results. 645 students from 20 schools appeared for business related exams under

RMSA project in Beauty and Balance, Health care, travel and tourism and retail.

2165 students were caught cheating and results of 1659 students held for other reasons.
