Government employees rally in Vadodara
Request for quick resolution of their demands
In view of their long pending demands government employees took out a big rally in Vadodara and give a memorandum to the collector. Employees from various departments joined the rally and request quick resolution of their demands.
With banners and posters the rally started from Gandhinagar Gruh and reached the collector office at Kothi. Traffic was also disrupted due to the rally as the commuters find it difficult to move along with their vehicles.
The employees demand the remaining benefits of 7th Pay commission, 2% DA from July 2018, Increase retirement age to 60 from 58, Give all benefits to Fix salary employees from the recruitment date and full salaries to the employees before 2006, implement old pension scheme, shut down outsourcing recruitment, new recruitment, rejoin after retirement, 7th pay commission benefits to employees of Panchayat, Nigam and Municipalities and waive written departmental exams for 50 plus emplaoyees.
