Golden Katar division deploys 10 columns for cyclone Maha in Saurashtra

Gandhinagar based SEOC has requested Golden Katar Division to be prepared to cope up with any untoward incident and assist the State Government. The Division has geared up with 30 standby relief teams for any probable eventuality.

Golden Katar Division is maintaining parallel communication with SEOC, Naval Intelligence and ground troops to mobilise the requisite number of standby flood relief columns for timely relief and rescue operations as and when required. Each relief team is self sustained with trained manpower, boats, medical relief items and Doctors / Nursing assistants for carrying out swift rescue operations averting any loss of precious lives.
