    Saddened by the rising rape cases in the country, a 12 year old girl from Godhra launched a signature campaign on Monday from Kamatibaug in Vadodara. She demand capital punishment for the accused and get unprecedented support from the people. The girl and her family have started a signature campaign in various cities of Gujarat.

    The family’s only demand is to hang the accused and reached the Kamatibaug gate on Monday morning and launched the signature campaign. Many people joined the signature campaign started by the girl and appreciate the efforts. They signed and extend their support to the demand of the young girl.

    Mahi Parmar said that rape cases are in the rise and the law has 10 years imprisonment for the accused. They don’t have any fear of law because of the lesser punishment and asa result the cases are on the rise. She appeal to the President that the perpetrators should be afraid of the law and provision should be made for the death penalty.

    Narendra Kumar Parmar father of the girl said, the number of rape cases in the country is on the rise and seeing the news in the media, her daughter once asked him, What is rape? He had no answer as how to explain his 12 year daughter about it.

    Eventually he explained and his daughter instantly said that such accused have no right to live. With a demand for capital punishment for the accused she launched the signature campaign with cooperation of the people to get her voice heard by the government.
